Based in Waubay, South Dakota, our team combines decades of local knowledge with a passion for the outdoors and genuine hospitality. Joe Unzen

Co-Owner & Guide

Raised near Milbank, South Dakota, Joe has spent a lifetime hunting and fishing the waters and prairies of Northeast South Dakota. A retired military servicemember and law enforcement officer, he brings more than a decade of guiding experience, deep local knowledge, and a passion for the outdoors to every trip, helping guests create memorable experiences while showcasing everything this region has to offer.

Ethan Gaikowski

Co-Owner & Guide

A lifelong Day County resident and fourth-generation farmer, Ethan has spent years exploring the lakes, fields, and prairies of Northeast South Dakota. With more than a decade of guiding experience, he's passionate about sharing his love for the outdoors and helping guests create memorable experiences with family and friends while discovering everything this region has to offer.
